In anticipation of the republishing of Act Your Age!, I am releasing the song I wrote at sixteen, setting my grandfather's poem to music. This recording is the original, made fifty years ago. The poem is featured in the chapter, "Snake Charming." Listen here:

I wrote this about two years into my parents seven plus year sojourn with us. I read it again after Daddy's passing. It still rings true. As my husband says, of the writing of books there is no end. The years of writing and editing are only the beginning. Publishing comes with its own adventures.
